Title: Opportunities for Jobs and Funded Post Graduate Education/Training in Biomedical Engineering, AI, Software Engineering, Embedded Systems and Wireless

Affiliation: Professor of Cyber Physical Systems, James Watt School of Engineering, University of Glasgow, UK
Date and Time of Talk: 14 December 2022 02:00 PM Pakistan

Abstract:

Most real-world problems of global significance require crosspollination of innovations in multiple disciplines.  Two such problems of our interest are: 1) Achieving zero touch automation in complex dynamic systems such as 5G and 6G; and 2) Transforming reactive “sick care” into “proactive healthcare” by making and leveraging innovations in connectivity, biosensing and AI. In this seminar Professor Imran will present a brief overview of research being carried out by the teams led by him at AI4Networks Research Center, University of Oklahoma, USA; James Watt school of Engineering, Glasgow, UK; and AI4LYF LLC, OK, USA and Lahore, Pakistan. The purpose of this talk is to make aspiring students aware of promising post-graduate training, education, research, and employment opportunities that exist in the aforementioned fields in Lahore, Pakistan; Glasgow, UK; and Oklahoma, USA.
