This presentation will focus on the use of AI in 3D face analysis to understand the genetic roots of Autism Spectrum Disorder. It will also discuss the use of 3D face in predicting Obstructive Sleep Appnea. In essence 3D face is a non-intrusive biometric that conveys a wealth of information about the identity, biological sex, age, gender and ethnic background.\u00a0 Deep networks trained on millions of 3D facial scans are believed to be closely approaching human-level performance in face recognition. Hence, this biometric can also be used for identification and verification\u00a0\u00a0 Facial features are also linked to concentration of hormones that play a vital role in human growth and hence, beyond identity, 3D face can be used to detect the presence and subsequently the cause of neurodevelopmental disorders. The presentation will also briefly touch on the use of AI in predicting Cardiovascular Diseases (CVDs) by automatically detecting Abdominal Aortic Calcification.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: #000000;\">Biography:<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Dr Zulqarnain Gilani is an experienced researcher in 3D ComputerVision. Currently a Research Fellow at ECU, he completed his PhDand first Post-Doc from UWA. His research interests include machinelearning, artificial intelligence, deep learning, face recognition and 3Dface analysis.
