In this session, we will explore the transformative impact of generative AI on the software development lifecycle. This talk will highlight innovative techniques for code generation, code refactoring, effective prompt engineering, and the integration of AI-driven unit testing to enhance developer productivity and streamline workflows. This session promises to provide valuable insights and practical strategies for leveraging generative AI in development of software products<\/span><\/p>

Bioghraphy:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Dr. Muhammad Shoaib Farooq has over 26 years of experience in teaching. Dr. Muhammad Shoaib Farooq is associated with University of Management and Technology since 2014 in the Department of Computer Science, School of Systems and Technology. Prior to joining UMT, he was a faculty member at University of Central Punjab in the Faculty of Information Technology from 2000 till 2014. He has worked with Aitchison College, Lahore as head of Computer Science department prior to joining University of Central Punjab.<\/span>

He served as a consultant\/trainer at Techlogix Center of Excellence, Pakistan. He has research interests in the areas of programming Languages, Compiler Construction, data warehousing and distributed computing. He has been involved in teaching and research at undergraduate as well as graduate levels and has supervised numerous final year projects and Thesis. He has published a number of research papers in international and national journals and conferences of high repute.
