Abstract:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Internet of Things (IoT), advance imaging, and AI deals with major challenges by providing intelligent <\/span>
solutions for a wide range of issues in various walks of life and Industry 4.0\/5.0. The talk will first briefly <\/span>
introduce the emerging IoT, advance imaging & AI technologies, state-of-the-art devices, and applications. <\/span>
The second, phase of the talk will present our research contributions of the project related to IoT, imaging <\/span>
& AI in Smart city and sustainable agricultural application & security including project technical outputs. <\/span>
Finally, we will briefly present our current & future research project. In summary, the talk will provide the <\/span>
audience a glimpse of these technologies potential in two major application areas from research <\/span>
perspectives. <\/span><\/p>

Biography:<\/span><\/p>

ADNAN NADEEM ALHASSAN received a Ph.D. degree from the Institute for Communication Systems, U.K., <\/span>
in 2011. He is a Full Professor & the Head of the Department of Computer Science in the Faculty of <\/span>
Computer and Information System (FCIS), Islamic University in Madinah (IUM), Saudi Arabia. He has <\/span>
published more than 95 papers in international conferences and journals, including a <\/span>
registered Patent & a Book chapter. He has more than 2676 citations for his work & <\/span>
cumulative Impact Factor of his publication is 101.05 to date. His Researchgate Score is higher <\/span>
than 95% of RG members. He has completed eight funded research projects since 2015 worth SAR <\/span>
2.05 million SAR research funds. He has won several awards and achievements, including the Best <\/span>
Researcher, Best Academic Advisor & Best Initiative for International Collaboration Award from <\/span>
Islamic University of Madinah. He is a Senior member of IEEE, Associate Fellowship of Higher <\/span>
Education Academy (AFHEA), U.K and member of various academic bodies. He has supervised <\/span>
eight Masters and four Ph.D. students. Dr Adnan\u2019s principal research interest includes IoT, AI, WSN <\/span>
and advance imaging technology applied to smart cities, crowd management, healthcare, <\/span>
agriculture & security. He has proposed various solutions for network layer attacks by IDS, IPS, <\/span>
QoS, and reliability issues of MANET and sensors Networks. He also works on projects Blockchain <\/span>
challenges and applications. He is also serving as an editorial member of international journals, <\/span>
