Dr Gilani is a Senior Lecturer and the Raine Robson Fellow in the School of Science. He is the Co-lead of the Technology and Innovation theme at ECU Nutrition and Health Innovation and Research Institute (NHIRI) and a member of School of Science Centre for AI & ML (CAIML).
Background/Employment History
Zulqarnain’s research has focused on developing AI algorithms for health and disease detection. His core interest is in analysing abdominal aortic calcification in DXA scans and 3D face analysis with applications to detecting Autism and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea.
